What's Up?

Northeast Indiana Homemaker's Camp Aug. 25-27
“The Purr-fect Retreat” is the theme of the 64th annual Northeast Indiana Homemaker's Camp Aug. 25-27 at Camp Mac near Milford.
It is an opportunity to meet new friends and renew friendships with fellow Extension Homemakers from a nine county area.
The schedule will include educational programs, leadership development and personal growth, business meetings, chair exercises, vespers, crafts, workshops, mixers, a “mystery” auction, silent auction, free time, camp queen selection and meals.
Full time camper fee is $130 for all three days. One day campers (Thursday only) is $35 for programs and lunch or $40 for programs, lunch and dinner. Registrations are due by July 22, 2010.

Indy Art Museum’s
nature park opens
The 110 acre Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park, adjacent to the Indianapolis Museum of Art will open this coming weekend (June 19-20) with tours, live music, art-making workshops and a Summer Soltice program.
From noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 20, free performances will include Motus Dance Theatre, Stratum Pier, Drumming with JamX, Funky Bones, Arrington de Dionyso and The Clearing.
Regular hours for the IMA and Lilly house are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, until 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, closed Mondays. More information at www.imamuseum.org
