Northern Indiana bluegrass festival

Northern Indiana Bluegrass Association will sponsor a Memorial weekend festival at the Noble County 4-H Fairgrounds in Kendallville May 27-30. There are two large covered stage areas where attenders should bring their own seating. A weekend ticket is priced at $25.
The weekend will get underway on Thursday, May 27, with a free drive-in community night from 7 to 10 p.m. A 4-H dinner will be available for a $ donation from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Performers will include Chapel Hill, Michigan; Echo Valley, Indiana; Faces Made for Radio, Ohio; and Westbound Ranges, Tennessee.
On Friday admission will be $8 with hours from 6:45 to 10:30 p.m. Performers on Friday will include Chapel Hill, Echo Valley, Faces Made for Radio, Gilbert & Co. from Michigan, and Westbound Rangers.
Show times on Saturday will be from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and admission is $15. Performers will include Jerry Butler & Blu-Js, Tennessee; Echo Valley, Monroe Crossing, Minnesota; Nobody’s Darlin’, Michigan; Special Concensus, Illinois; Spinney Bros., Canada; and Town Mountain, North Carolina.
On Sunday the hours are 11 a.m. to 10:10 p.m. and admission is $12. Performers will be Monroe Crossing, Nobody’s Darlin., Jr. Sisk & Ramblers Choice from Virginia, Special Concensus, Spinney Bros., and Town Mountain.
Camping facilities are available at the site as are a Kids’ Korner, instrument workshops and a beginners’ jam session. More information at www.BluegrassUSA.net
