Clothes Closet open in Monroe
Damascus Road Christian Church Clothes Closet is open to anyone with low or no income who are in need of clothing. The Closet is located next door to Rice Realtors at 128 E. Monroe Street, Decatur Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 260-301-6023.

Register soon for Kid's Fishing Derbies
Children ages two to 14 are invited to participate in one of the Fishing Derbies at the three Upper Wabash Reservoirs June 5 during the statewide Free Fishing Weekend. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. with fishing from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Award ceremonies will follow.Children should pre-register. Each participating child will go home with a prize. There are grand prizes for the largest fish caught and prizes for each of the three age categories.
Call 260-468-2127 to register. The standard entrance $4-$5 fee will be in effect when the gatehouse is open.

Forget-Me-Not Tea May 27
Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home will present “Forget-me-Not Tea for Hospice Home” Thursday, May 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Seasons of Life gardens at Hospice Home.
Held outside amongst the flowers and fountains under a tent, the tea will feature highlights from a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Special guest Kyoko Shiga will discuss the customs and traditions associated with the centuries old ceremony. Guests will be served tea, special sweets and culinary surprises.
