Honor bricks for sale at veterans'
memorial
Do you know a veteran or a special friend, loved one or family member who served in any war or who has a MIA or KIA or POW?
You can purchase a memorial brick in their name to be placed at the Korean War Era Veterans Memorial Honor Walkway Monument located on the grounds of the Veterans Shrine Memorial at 2122 O'Day Road, Fort Wayne.

Parenting Classes at Zanesville
Community Church of God Jan. 25
“The Essentials of Discipline” provides workable advice on how to raise your kids. Through interviews and animated vignettes, James Dobson and other experts tackle topics vital to 21st century parents. You’ll discover wise counsel on effective discipline, self confidence, and faith guards for a dangerous world. Learn how to grow and lead your sons and daughters God’s way. Classes will be offered twice each week beginning January 25 at 10 a.m. and January 28 at 1 p.m. at Zanesville Community Church of God. Questions, call 638-4239.

Senior Citizen
Dinner Feb. 4
New Hope Lutheran Church will host its quarterly Senior Citizen Dinner Feb. 4 at 11:30 a.m.
There will be a hot meal and a sing-a-long with Ed Higgins. Speaker will be Jody Heaston, a nautralist, who will talk about birds and bird feeding.
A free will offering will be taken to help defray the cost of the meal. Make reservations by calling 622-7954 by Monday, Feb. 1, 2010.
The church is located on the south edge of Ossiain.

Liver & Onion
Supper Feb. 6
A Liver and Onion Supper will be held Saturday, Feb. 6 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Petroleum United Methodist Church.
The menu will include: mashed potatoes, noodles, vegetable, salad, dessert and drink and plenty of liver and onions.A free will donation will be accepted at the event.
