Bluffton Parks Dept Events for February!

2- Special Toddler Event11-noon
The first Tuesday of every month the Park’s Department will offer special Toddler activities. Bring your wee ones on Tuesday February 2nd from 11-noon to create an oh-so-sweet valentine treat to give to the people they love the most. Your child will have fun making wonderfully simple crafts that will melt your heart and cover the front side of your fridge.



8- Winter Gymnastics Registration 6:30-8 p.m.
If you want your child to have fun while working on their strength, flexibility, speed, balance, coordination, power and discipline, then gymnastics is the sport for them. Register your 3 yr old -6th grader at the city hall on February 8th from 6:30-8pm. Cost is $30 or discounted to $25 for city residents for 8 lessons and a t-shirt. Classes are held March 8-11th and 15-18th. Students ages 3-pre-K are 6:15-7pm, grades K-2 will tumble from 7-8pm and grades 3-6th will go 8-9pm. Class size is limited and every group will practice tumbling on the floor, vault and balance beam.


11- Valentine Senior Lunch 12-1:30 p.m.
Come and enjoy a hearty lunch on Thursday February 11th prepared by the culinary art students at Bluffton High School. Lunch is served from 12-1:30 at the First United Methodist Church and pre-registration is required by calling 824-6069 by February 8th. In honor of Lincoln’s birthday month, Brian Dirck from Anderson University will be talking about his life and law practices. Cost is $6.


21- Special Needs Dance 3:30-5 p.m.
Put on your bell bottoms and plan to boogie down Sunday, February 21st from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. at the Wells County 4-H Building (co-sponsored with 4-H). Friends and family will enjoy a music, refreshments and photos. Cost is $1.00 per person. Dress for the evening is theme based or dressy. Ticket sales begin Monday, January 5th in the City Clerk/Treasurer’s office at 128 E. Market St.


21- Dad/Daughter Disco Dance 6-8 p.m.
Gentlemen dig out your polyester leisure suit (we know you kept it) and hurry on down to the City Clerk Treasurer's office in City Hall to purchase your tickets starting January 5th. This super-groovy dance is held on Sunday Feb. 21st from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Wells County 4-H Building (co-sponsored with the 4-H). Enjoy an evening of music, refreshments, door prizes, photos and treat bags. Escorts may be father, grandfather, or other significant adult role model. Dress for this event is theme based or dressy. The price for a couple is $10.00 ($3.00 each additional daughter), the look on your daughters face when you embarrass her with your dance moves… priceless.
