Angola Pokagon slide open
The refrigerated toboggan slide is now open for the season. Typical operating hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The Silence of a Moonlit Winter's Night Jan. 30
“The Silence of a Moonlit Winter's Night” will be presented Jan. 30 from 4 to 8 p.m. at J. Edward Roush Lake. Enjoy the full moon, hike through the winter stillness and view the night sky with Ft. Wayne Astronomical Society member telescopes. Eat a moon meal in the heated building. Listen to stories around the bonfire and take part in a scavenger hunt with your car.

Skating at FW’s
Headwaters Park
Regular skating hours for the outdoor skating rink at Headwaters Park in Fort Wayne are from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday. There will be extended holiday hours from noon to 10 p.m. Dec. 31 through Jan. 4.
Admission is $3 for those under age 14 and $5 for those 14 and older. Skates are available for rental at $2. More information at 260-422-7625.

Workshop offered for artists at CAC
“Navigating the Art World and Discovering the Systems Within the System” will be the topic of interest for area artists as the Wells County Creative Arts Council’s hosts a workshop on Monday, Jan. 11, beginning at 6:30 p.m. This free event will be presented by experts from the Fort Wayne Museum of Art. The program was organized for artists at varying career stages, as this practical and productive workshop will address topics relevant to working artists.
Attenders will learn useful planning and promoting methods as they bring their own questions and share experiences. Registration is required with a minimum enrollment of eight. To enroll call (260) 824-5222 or send an email to cac@adamswells.com

Ballet class info
All ballet classes taught by Pam Talarico have been canceled for this week at the Arts Commerce & Visitors Centre.
The previously announced ballet class for adults will begin next Tuesday night, Jan. 12th.
