Celina Garage Sales Jan. 28-Feb. 2
A six day garage sale sponsored by the Mercer County Council on Aging Jan. 28 through Feb. 2 at the Senior Citizen Center at 217 Riley Street.
Weekday hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Evening hours are scheduled Thursdasy, the first day, with the center remaining open until 7:30 p.m. Merchandise is sold at regular prices Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Bag Days are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The customer selects the merchandise to fill the bag. On Sunday to fill up the bag is $3; on Monday the cost is $2 and Tuesday the cost is $1 with a second bag free.

Saige Lambert Style Show Benefit Feb. 6
A style show benefit for Saige Lambert, entitled “Princess of the King” will be held Saturday, Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. at Lighted Gardens in Ossian. Cost is $25 per seat.
There will be an elegant sit down dinner and fashion show with Mayor Ted Ellis as master of ceremonies. Saige herself will take the stage at the end of the evening. Saige is the four year old daughter of Greg and Jamie Lambert of Bluffton. She has been diagnosed with A.L.L.-Luekemia. She will required two more years of treatments. Valentine Banquet Feb. 11 at South Adams
The annual Valentine Banquet will be held at the South Adams Senior Center, 825 Hendricks St., Berne Thursday, Feb. 11 at 6 p.m.
The meal will be catered by Norm's Preble Gardens and the menu will consist of tossed salad, swiss steak, baked chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, California blend vegtables, roll and butter, assorted pies, punch and coffee.
Entertainment will be furnished by Arlene Stoller of Bluffton. Door prizes and the fresh floral centerpieces will be given away. The cost is $10 per person, and reservations are required by Monday, Feb. 8. Please call 260-589-8877 to sign up.
