Walking exercise held at Ossian UM Church
Ossian United Methodist Church will be open for walking exercise from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. Public is welcome.

Perk Up Petroleum meets on Tuesdays
Each Tuesday morning from 8 to 10 a.m. the Petroleum Church will be open serving coffee and snacks.
This is a time for friends and neighbors to relax and visit. The public is welcome to attend the weekly event.

Singles small group meets twice a month
A singles small group and bible study entitled Singles Embracing Life, meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at C&C Bible Fellowship at 4383S., 150E., Berne.
The group is led by Marcia Von Gunten and Jenny Girod. It is for anyone who is between 35-55 years old and for whatever reason finds themselves single at this stage of their life.

In case of bad weather during the winter months, the meetings will be cancelled.

Deadline Jan. 15 to reserve spot for Wind Farm tour
On Jan. 22 Wesco Wind will provide a limited seated tour to the Benton County Wind Farm. The trip is free and a lunch will be provided.
The bus will leave Wells County 4-H Park at 6:15 a.m. Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. To save a spot call 260-694-6240 by Jan. 15, 2010.

Arthur & Gloria Muselman Wellness Pavilion anniversary open house Jan. 16
The Arthur and Gloria Muselman Wellness Pavilion will host an open house Jan. 16, 2010 from Noon to 4 p.m. in celebration of its one year anniversary. The general public is invited to come and check out the facility, and register to win one of 50 free one day guest passes. Refreshments will be served. Bingo Jan. 18 at SA Senior Center
The South Adams Senior Center will host a free bingo day the third Monday of each month. Blood Pressure checks start at 12:30 p.m. and bingo will begin at 1 p.m. There will be nice prizes to win, including gift certificates from the various local businesses, fresh floral arrangements, certificates from restaurants and fast food eateries, gas stations, paper products, laundry products, soda pop, candy, microwave meals, cereal, and goody bags.
Also sign up for door prizes that will be given away during bingo time. Playing time ends at 2:30 p.m. Refreshments are served, and a package of microwave popcorn is given to anyone that has not won a prize.
Mark your calendars now, the third Monday of every month to come to the South Adams Senior Center Bingo at 825 Hendricks St., Berne, Indiana. Those who need transportation or for more information, can call 260-589-8877.

Pizza suppper at AC Jan. 22
The Adams Central Classroom Teachers' Association (ACCTA) will sponsor a pizza supper before the Adams Central versus Bluffton boys' varsity basketball game Friday, Jan. 22. The supper will be held in the cafetorium from 5 to 7 p.m.
A la carte menu items will be pizza from the Brick House in Monroe, along with salad, desserts, and pop.
Proceeds from the supper will be used to fund at least one $500 scholarship for an Adams Central senior who is planning to major in education next year.
Taya Ashley and Risa Reynolds of the class of 2009 were the recipients last year.
