Sechler Pickle Fundraiser going on now
Members of the Wells County Chorus are currently selling a variety of Sechler’s Pickels. The sale runs through Oct. 5.

Lions Club Breakfast Sept. 5 in Montpelier
Members of the Montpelier Lions Club will sponsor a Jamboree Breakfast Saturday, Sept. 5 from 7 to 10 a.m. at the corner of High and Jefferson Streets.
The menu will include sausage gravy and biscuits, hash browns, juice and coffee. A free will donation will be accepted during the event.

Jamboree Noodle Dinner Sept. 6
Members of the Montpelier Lions Club will sponsor a Jamboree Noodle Dinner with chicken or beef Sunday, Sept. 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the corner of High and Jefferson Streets in Montpelier.
The meal will be served with all the trimmings. Dine in or carry-outs are available. A free will donation will be accepted during the event.

Ossian Days pork chop dinner Sept. 10
The Ossian Economic Revitalization Committee smoked pork chop dinner will be held Thursday, Sept. 10, in the Ossian Days event tent downtown Ossian from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dinners include a smoked pork chop, baked potato, applesauce, roll, sweet treat, and beverage.
Purchase tickets ahead for $9 or at the event for $9.50. Carry outs are available on the west side of tent (Craig Street). Pre-order carry out orders are available from 4:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Bluffton at the Ossian State Bank branch, corner of State Road 1 and 111 E. Oak Forest Dr., North of Walmart). All proceeds benefit the Ossian Community. 
Tickets are available at Ossian Do It Best Hardware, Ossian State Bank, iAB Financial Bank, Ossian, Ossian Town Hall, or from any of the following Committee Member: Judy Harkless, Jan Williams, Linda Hambrick, Larry Heckber, Larry Smith, Marlyn Koons, Natalie Milholland, Jim Brewer, Kody Kumfer, Cheryl Laley.
The Helen Witte pie auction will be held at 6 p.m.

Be a tourist in Fort Wayne on Sunday, Sept. 13
On Sunday, Sept. 13 Fort Wayne 12 attractions will host “Be a Tourist in Your Own Hometown” from noon to 5 p.m.
A free passport book may be secured at any Fort Wayne Kroger store or at Old National Bank location.

Sites that can be visited free of charge include: African-American Historical Museum, Allen County Courthouse, Artlink Contemporary Gallery, Cathedral Museum, Embassy Theatre, Botanical Conservatory, Fort Wayne Museum of Art, The History Center, Lincoln Tower (lobby only with entertainment by local nonprofit arts and cultural organizations), Parkview Field, Science Central and the Old Fort.
