Genealogy Society to meet Sept. 19
Members of the Wells County Genealogy Society will meet Saturday, Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. at the Historical Museum.  This is a change of date from Saturday Sept. 26.

Ford Hoosier Outdoor Experience Sept. 19-20
 The Ford Hoosier Outdoor Experience will be held at Fort Harrison State Park Sept. 19-20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Indianapolis.
Now in its seventh year, it will feature a different type of paddling activity among its roughly 50 activities.
 Six “voyageur” canoes, will be used instead of the standard canoes and kayaks of past years. All paddling will still be done on Delaware Lake, the three acre lake  
Activities include archery, target shooting, mountain biking, disc golf, and much more. Participants can bring their own food or purchase food at from on-site vendors. All food vendors will offer credit card payment options. 
 The Ford Hoosier Outdoor Experience is presented by the DNR and the Indiana Natural Resources Foundation.

Food Demonstration for seniors Sept. 28
The Arthur and Gloria Muselman Wellness Pavilion, as part of Active Aging Week, will offer food demonstration and tasting on Monday, Sept. 28 at 3:30 p.m. Seniors will learn how to make new and creative food options. Members and non-Members are welcome to attend. This event is free for seniors 55+. Samples of the food will be provided. Friends of Ouabache to meet Sept. 29

Members of the Friends of Ouabache State Park will meet Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. The date has been changed because of the Bluffton Street Fair Opening Night parade. On the agenda for the meeting will be discussion on the next project and future fundraising ideas for the tower. For more information call 260-273-1686.
