Squirt Gun Fight June 30
The Bluffton Parks and Recreation Department will  host a world record squirt gun fight attempt on Tuesday June, 30 at Lancaster Park (across from Lancaster Elementary School at 1:30 p.m.
Participants of all ages are encouraged to bring their own squirt guns and join in the fun. Donations will be accepted to collect money for the Roush Park renovations where a new splash pad, walking path and improvements to the pavilion are planned.
Immediately following the squirt gun fight enjoy a trip down a giant slip and slide on the sledding hill. Bring your swim suits and a towel!!

Alzheimer’s Support Group to meet July 1
The Wells County Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group will meet at the First United Methodist Church, located at 325 W. Washington Street in Bluffton, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1.
The group is intended for caregivers and family members of a loved one with Alzheimer’s or other dementia related diseases.  Those in attendance will also be given the opportunity to share their experiences of caring for their loved one and to ask questions of the other caregivers in attendance.

Free Friday movies begin July 3 at Kehoe
Free Friday Movies will begin July 3 at Kehoe Park in Bluffton. The Friday Movie Series is sponsored by the Bluffton Parks Department and fully funded by the Wells County Foundation.
Movies will be shown at Kehoe Park at 300 N. Main, behind the Dutch Mill Plaza and will begin at dusk (8:45 p.m.)
Those attending should bring their own seating, bug spray and snacks. Rain site for all of these films will be in the Bluffton City Gym at 128 E. Market Street.  Location changes will be posted on facebook if the weather is poor. 
These movies are all family friendly. No need to register,  just drop in.
Dates and the movie titles are as follows:
July 3 – Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day: PG.
July 10th – Into the Woods: PG
July 17th – Big Hero 6: PG.
July 24th – Planes Fire and Rescue: PG
July 31st – Paddington: PG.
Choir presents ‘Liberty’ July 5
The McNatt Community Choir will present “Liberty” Sunday, July 5, at 2 p.m. at The United Church of Christ. The public is welcome to attend this free musical celebration of freedom as we pay tribute to our veterans and service men and women. The church is located at 202 East 2nd Street, Warren.

Free Boys Wrestling July 6-10
The Bluffton Parks and Recreation will sponsor FREE Boys Wrestling for those ages  8 –18 July 6-10 from 9-10 a.m. at the Bluffton High School wrestling room (Enter door 4). Pre-registration is required  by calling 824-6069.  

House of Hope 5K, Boot Camp and Breakfast July  18
The House of Hope will sponsor a 5K Fun Run, Boot Camp and breakfast event featuring Saturday, July 18. All benefits go towards House of Hope Northeast Indiana.
The event will be held at the Bluffton Rivergreenway followed by a boot camp style workout and breakfast at Kehoe Park.
The 5K will be held at 7 a.m. Boot camp will be held at 8:30 a.m. and the breakfast will start a 9:30 a.m.
Cost is $25 for everything or $15 for choice of Fun Run or Boot Camp workhout. Both costs include breakfast.

Feast of Hunter’s Moon Oct. 3-4
The 48th annual Festival of  the Hunters’ Moon will be held Oct. 3 and Oct. 4 on the grounds of Fort Ouiatenon Historic Park at 3129 South River Road in West Lafayette.
