SW Church offers free lunch July 1
Southern Wells Community Church will be serve free lunches four times this summer at the corner of Main Street and Ind. 18 in Montpelier from noon to 1:15 p.m. The meal will include free sandwiches, chips and drinks. If it is raining at 11:30 a.m. the lunch will be cancelled.  Call 765-728-2154. No donations.

Fort Wayne Castle Gallery 20th anniversary
Fort Wayne’s Castle Gallery will be celebrating 20 years of featuring art work by local and national award-winning artists in the historic West Central Neighborhood site. A reception for past and current artists will be held on Friday, July 10, from 6 to 10 p.m. The gallery is owned by Mark Smith and artist Jody Hemphill Smith and is located at 1202 West Wayne St., Fort Wayne.. Regular gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Art show & sale at Ouabache July 11
The 2nd annual art show and sale celebrating nature through the arts will be held at the Ouabache State Park Lodge, 4930 E St. Rd. 201, Bluffton on Saturday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Viewing the exhibit is free, however the standard park admission will be charged. (In state vehicles $7 and out of state vehicles $9.)
Featured work will include nature paintings, woodwork items, photography, garden art, poetry, jewelry and more. Some of the proceeds from sales will be given to the Friends of Ouabache State Park.

Invitation to  “high tea” at Wells museum

On the Sunday afternoon of July 12, the Wells County Historical Museum will be holding an Afternoon High Tea from  2 to 4 p.m. at the museum at 420 West Market St. in Bluffton Tickets are $20 and may be reserved by calling Lynne Elliott at (260) 827-0117. Seating is limited.
