Zanesville Lion’s Club to sell Apple Dumplings June 17
Members of the Zanesville Lion’s Club will sell apple dumplings on Wednesday, June 17 in celebration of Father’s Day. Pre-orders can be taken by calling County Line Pizza at 638-4147, Davis Restaurant at 758-2263 or 638-4327. All proceeds will go to park expenses and other projects. Cost of the dumplings are $2 each and include caramel topping.

Fulton County Historical Power Show June 19-21
The Fulton County Historical Power Show will be held June 19-21 at the Fulton County Historical Society located four miles north of Rochester on U.S. 31 and County Road 375-N. Hours for the event are Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m..
The show will include antique tractors, garden tractors, hit-n-miss engines, equipment and antique trucks.

Bison Bash at Ouabache Park June 20
On Saturday, June 20, Ouabache State Park will host a Bison Bash.
Visitors will learn the difference between a bison and a buffalo and come up close and personal with the magnificent creatures. Activities will include  a 5K Bison Stampede, a 1-mile Bison Pop fun run and a chance to create a bison craft to take home as a souvenir.
Registration fee the day of the race is $15 per person.

Touch a Truck June 20
The Parks and Recreation Department’s Touch a Truck will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 20 in the Washington Main Commons parking lot across from the post office. Trucks may include: a dump truck, concrete mixer, police car ambulance, fire truck, etc.  This event is free and open to the public. No pre-registration is required. 
Children must be accompanied by an adult. In case of unfavorable weather, this event is canceled. Call 824-6069.

Sign up for Nature’s Bounty Class by June 22
The Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor a Nature’s Bounty Class on Tuesday, June 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. on the second floor at City Hall. Instructor Molly Hoag will offer the canning, drying, and freezing class. 
Cost is $3 per person and participants must register by calling 824-6069 or e-mailing the park office at parks@ci.bluffton.in.us by June 22.

Zanesville Lion’s Club 5K June 27
The 10th annual Zanesville Lion’s Club 5K will be held Saturday, June 27 at Zanesville United Methodist Church. 
Cost is $1 for the Fun Run, $10 for 5K pre-registration entry or $15 registration the day of the run. Entries need to be made by June 20 by sending a check to P.O. Box 361, 3088 W. Vanhorn, Zanesville, Ind. 46799. For more information call Kenneth Edwards at 260-638-4327.
