Salamonie July 22
Join food preservation classes at the Salamonie Interpretive Center July 22, 27 and 29 to learn how to use the foods you grow.
Teresa Witkoske, Purdue Extension Educator, will instructt each class. Class one teaches canning basics. Class two features freezing tips. Class three features preserving jams, jellies and fruit. Each class is from 6 to 9 p.m. and costs $10 per person. To register call 260-0563-0661, ext. 246.

Hunter Education Course July 24 & 25
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources will sponsor a Hunter Education Course July 24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and July 25 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Ossian Conservation Club.
Instructors will be ICO Kenny Wireman, Darrell Reynolds, Mike and Jodi Pinkerton, Rich Falk, Rick Bergman, Tracy Myers and Brad VanCamp.
For pre-registration call 260-824-0692. Those under age 16 must be accompanied by a guardian. Attendance for all classes is required for certification.

Car, Truck and Bike Show July 24
First annual Wheels of Fortune Car, Truck and Bike Show in memory of Damon Springer will be Saturday, July 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 16933 Thiele Road (three miles north of Ossian). Come early to pre-register your vehicle for $10. Trophies award at 2 p.m.
