Wells County Public Library Release:
Basic computer classes in a friendly atmosphere are being offered at the Wells County Public Library during August. Classes are free but you must register. Sign up for one class or all. Register by phone at 260-824-1612 or online at www.wellscolibrary.org.
Don’t be afraid of the mouse: intro to computer: Thursday, Aug. 5 at 6:30 p.m. Learn the parts of the computer and computer lingo, then get started using some simple computer programs. A gentle introduction for beginners or refresher for others.
Introduction to the Internet: Monday, Aug. 9 at 6 p.m. Learn to search the internet, then explore some fun sites (travel, games, etc). You must be able to comfortably use a mouse to get the most out of this class.
Cut & Paste: basic word processing: Thursday, Aug. 12 at 6:30 p.m. An introduction to basic word processing for beginners using Microsoft Word 2007. Learn to copy, cut & paste and edit text. You must be able to comfortably use a mouse to get the most out of this class.
