Friend Day at Grace Baptist May 2
Sunday, May 2 is Friend Day at Grace Baptist Church, located at 1621S., 350E, Stogdill Road Ext., Buffton. Award winning vocalist Alan Harris will be featured He will be minister in Word and song in the morning service at 10 a.m. and immediately after lunch in form of a mini concert.
He has toured nationally with many of the Gaither Homecoming artists and was recently honored with a Diamond Award nomination for Male Vocalist of the Year. Alan has been a featured performer at the Southern Gospel Music Fan Fair in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. and the National Quartest Convention in Louisville, Ky.,
He has also been a featured guest speaker on syndicated radio and television programs and is in demand as a keynote speaker nationwide.

Angel Food May orders being taken
Orders for Angel Food Ministries May menu can be placed at Sonlight Wesleyan Church between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday or order online at www.angelfoodministries.com.
The deadline at the church is Sunday, May 9. Online orders only can be placed until noon May 15. Food will be distributed May 22. Check out the new Bit O’ Blessing box. For more information, call the church at 824-0068 or Margetta Stinson at 827-0382.

Fish & Chicken
All-U-Can-Eat
Dinner May 2
An All-You-Can-Eat Fish and Chicken dinner will be held Sunday, May 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Knight-Bergman Center in Warren provided by Back Door Concessions. Those attending can pay at the door.
The event is sponsored by The Warren RoadRunners, a Warren Church of Christ ministry. Proceeds to The Warren RoadRunners Bus ministry.

‘Wildflowers’ is lunch topic May 3 for Salamonie seniors
Individuals age 50 or older are invited to enjoy Wildflowers at their Best at the May 3 senior’ lunch at the Salamonie Interpretive Center.
Interpretive naturalist Marvin McNew will present his annual wildflower program through Powerpoint slides and take a short walk on the Turkey Cove Trail to look for wildflowers.
The program kicks off with the meal at 12:30 p.m. The meat dish will be provided by Upper Wabash Interpretive Services (UWIS). Seniors should bring a dish to pass, their own table service and $1 donation to help defray the cost of the provided meat dish.
Those interested should register by calling UWIS, (260) 468-2127, or visiting the interpretive center, 3691 S. New Holland Rd., Andrews, 46702.
The standard gate fee ($4/car Mon-Thurs; $5/car Fri-Sat-Sun; $7/car for out-of-state license plates) will be in effect when the gatehouse is open.

3-D Archery Shoot May 2
A 3-D Archery Shoot will be held Sunday May 2 and May 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at South West Conservation Club, located at 5703 Bluffton Road, Fort Wayne. For more information call 260-747-4677.
