Swiss Days musical tryouts May 21, 22, 24
Rob Kowalczyk, Margie Dobler and Fancheon Resler will be combine their talents to serve as directors for the Swiss Days musical, “In Grand Old Switzerland.” All three individuals have been involved in many theatrical and musical activities in Berne and elsewhere for many years.
Try-outs for the Swiss Days production will be held May 21, 22 and 24 at the South Adams Auditorium. Three performance of the musical comedy will be held during Swiss Days on Thursday and Friday evenings, July 29 and 30 and Sunday afternoon, Aug. 1.

Son Dance April 11
Tickets for the Mother Son Pirate Dance Tickets are on sale now for the April 11th event.
Enjoy a night of music, games, photos, door prizes, treat bags and grub. This event is held Sunday April 11 from 6-8 p.m. at the 4-H building. Dress is theme based or casual and cost is $10 per couple and $3 each additional son. For more information call 824-6069.

Home grown food sessions at Salamonie Reservoir April 6, 13, 20
Join food preservation classes at the Salamonie Interpretive Center April 6, 13 and 20 to learn how to use the foods you grow. Class one teaches canning basics, class two features freezing tips. Try your hand at preserving jams, jellies and fruit in class three. Each class is from 6 to 9 p.m. and costs $10 per person. Register for one, two or three classes by calling the Wabash County Purdue Extension Office at 260-563-0661 ext 246.
Teresa Witkoske, Purdue Extension Educator will instruct each class. The Upper Wabash Interpretive Services hosts the interactive sessions at the interpretive center. The interpretive center and gift shop’s normal hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. This barrier-free building features exhibits, floor-to-ceiling windows in the wildlife viewing area, and staff to answer questions. The 2010 annual passes and boat launch permits are available for sale as well as bird feed and suet cakes. The center is in Lost Bridge West Recreation Area, Highway 105, in western Huntington County.

Bluffton High School’s Spring Comedy
Bluffton High School’s Drama Department will perform Surviving Reality Saturday, April 10 at 7 p.m. each evening. Tickets are $4 each. The cast of Surviving Reality include Ellen Cornwell, Paige Ladig, Donald Mock, Ryanne Runion, Robin Butler, Shannon Monroe, Aaron Carr, Katie Thompson, Layla Filhart, Joe Ifer, Brandon Anderson, Haley Humann, Ryan Coyne, Ivy Filhart, Katie Love, Kassandra Gerwig, Alexis Mulkey, Skylar Schwartz, and Katie Elliott.
