Spay Day at the Wells County Animal Shelter will be held Friday, May 7.
The surgery cost is $50 and this service. It is for anyone’s pet, not shelter cats. Appointments are scheduled by calling the shelter at 824-6063.
There is triage room at the shelter which has a surgery table. It was designed for this purpose when the shelter was constructed. The Friends of the Shelter are sponsoring the low cost surgery to address the problem of cat over-population in Wells County.
