Bird Extravaganza April 24
The Upper Wabash Interpretive Services will hold the annual “Bird Extravaganza April 24 from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Salamonie Reservoir's Lost Bridge West.
It will include a walk through the woods in search of early spring migrants with renowned Indiana birdwatcher Jim Haw. Meet at the center at 8 a.m. and bring your binoculars.
For those not interested in hiking, Naturalist Brad Bumgardner will band birds at the Interpretive Center at 10 a.m.
Shirley Needham, a federal and state certified rehabilitator of birds of prey, will present a program entitled “Common Buteos of Indiana” where she will discuss the likenesses and differences of red-tailed and red-shouldered hawks. She will also have two live educational birds on site. Pre-registration is required. There is a $5 program fee. Gate fees will apply. For more information call 260-468-2127.
Rummage and Flea Market April 24
The Blackford County 4-H Fairboard is sponsoring a Rummage/Flea Market Sale Saturday, April 24 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 4-H Fairgrounds in Hartford City. Anyone interested in setting up can call 765-348-3213.
Bike, Car and Truck Show April 24
An open Bike, Car and Truck Show will be hosted by Living Faith Missionary Church Youth Group Saturday, April 24 at 17718 South State Road 1, Yoder.
There will be all types of motorcycles, cars and trucks, door prizes and trophies awarded. There is a $10 registration fee for each entry. Concessions will be available on site.
This is the main fundraiser for the youth to attend camp and conference this summer. For more information call 260-622-7103.
St. Aloysius School Consignment Sale April 24
Make money and clean out your closets at the same time. St. Aloysius is currently accepting consignors to sell clothing, accessories and footwear, sizes infants through juniors, baby equipment, children's furniture, toys, games and children's DVDs for the sale.
All items must be in good condition. The sale will be held in the school gym, 14607 Bluffton Rd., Yoder (just south of I-469 on SR1) Saturday, April 24 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Benefit Auction
for Roanoke Library Building Fund
April 24
The Roanoke Public Library is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and invites the community to help them celebrate by participating in a Benefit Auction on April 24 at Roanoke Elementary School.
Registration and Silent Auction will begin at 2 p.m. The Live Auction will start at 3 p.m. A bookmark autographed by best-selling inspirational author Karen Kingsbury will be given to the first 29 people who preregister for the Live Auction when they pick up their packets on the day of the event. Pre-registrations are currently being accepted at the Library.

fundraiser April 24
An Auction Fundraiser will be held Saturday, April 24 at the Wells Community 4-H Building in Bluffton. Breakfast will start at 7 a.m. Auction will begin at 9 a.m.
All proceeds and donations from the event will assist in the building of a new handicapped accessible home for the Rob and Karen Kelly who's 12-year-old son Robert, has many severe medical issues.
Robert was born in 1997 with Mylomenengecyle, a type of Spina Bifida. He has underwent over 25 surgeries since birth. He is paralyzed from the chest down and is ventilator and oxygen dependent. There will be games, kids activities, food and more.
