Poets and listeners are invited to a night of the spoken art of poetry on Monday, April 26, at 7 p.m. at the Balentine Gallery at the Arts Commerce & Visitors Centre in Bluffton.
Poets are encouraged to read their recent, original works at the annual event sponsored by the Creative Arts Council of Wells County. A set amount of time is allotted to each poet so that each has an opportunity to share their verse. The event attracts professional and amateur poets along with students of all ages from the surrounding region.
Poets should arrive at 6:45 p.m. to be scheduled to read. Local poet and artist Doug Sundling will serve as the moderator.
There is no admission charge to attend and coffee and cookies will be served.
