Register for Parks Department Programs April 15

Registration for over 100 Summer Park’s Dept Programs will be held Wednesday, April 15! 

The Parks Department has finalized the summer schedule and it has been sent to the schools this week. Click the link http://www.blufftonindiana.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/2015-summer-activities.pdf to view events.

On April 15 you can e-mail us to register at parks@ci.bluffton.in.us or call us at 824-6069. 

Make sure to give the child’s name, age, phone, e-mail address and the list of events they would like to participate in.

Classes fill up quickly. If your schedule changes and you can’t attend a program be sure to let us know so that the next child on the waiting list can have the spot.

Theater Thursday April 16

Theater Thursday will be held April 16th. The movie “The Theory of Everything” will be shown at the Wells County Public Library starting at 10 a.m. For more information call 824-6069.

Pancake & Sausage Breakfast April 18

The Wells County 4-H Association will sponsor a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast Saturday, April 18 from 7 to 10 a.m at the 4-H Park. 

A free will donation will be taken during the event. Proceeds will go to new outdoor restrooms and log cabin restoration.

Carry-outs will be available.

Senior Olympics May 2-8

The Bluffton Parks Department and the Caylor Nickel Foundation Family YMCA are partnering to bring Bluffton’s first Senior Games. ANYONE over age 40 can participate!

Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three men and women in each event, for each 10 year age brackets - “Kids Division” for 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. 

Registration deadline is Friday, April 21st. Events will run from May 2 -8. Participate in one event or all nine! Events include bowling, table tennis, raquetball, corn hole, archery, swimming, basketball hoop shoot, 5K run, 1 mile treadmill walk/run.
