Basket and Vera Bradley Bingo April 25

A Longaberger Basket and Vera Bradley Bing will be held Saturday, April 25 at the Lions Club in Montpelier at the corner of High and Jefferson Streets. Cost is $15 for 15 games. Doors will open at 9 a.m. Bingo will begin at 10 a.m. Proceeds from the event will go toward scholarships. For more information call 765-728-2575 or 765-728-2104. The kitchen will be open.

Spring Fling April 25

The 5th annual Spring Fling will be held Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bluffton National Guard Armory at 500 E. Spring, Bluffton. Free admission. Petroleum Alumni Dinner May 2

The Petroleum High School annual Alumni Banquet will be held Saturday, May 2 at 6 p.m. at Bluffton High School. All former students and teachers are welcome to attend the event. Cost is $15 per person. Reservations are due by April 24 by calling 260-346-2771 or 260-824-3141.

Pickle Ball May 9

Pickle Ball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. This sport combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong and is played on a badminton-sized court with a paddle and a plastic ball.  

Any adult who would like to learn this sport should meet on Saturday May 9 at 10 a.m. at the Lion’s Park at 228 Midway tennis courts.
