Big Band hits the NPAC stage this spring
The Big Band era comes to the Niswonger Performing Arts Center as Five By Design brings its signature harmonies, which have withstood the test of time in a career that stands out on America’s musical landscape, spanning more than fifteen years to Van Wert, Ohio in March. This nationally-acclaimed vocal quintet will be at the NPAC on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 7:30 pm. For more information visit the ensemble’s website atwww.vebydesign.com. Featured Art Show at Northside Galleries
Northside Galleries will hold an opening reception Feb. 4 from 5 to 9 p.m. at 335 E. State Blvd., Fort Wayne featuring “The American Woman.”
Various local and regional area artists will display their artistic interpretation of the theme “The American Woman”. This will be the first themed jurored show at this gallery, requiring acceptance of the piece to be on display. Refreshments will be provided. Adults can have a warm place to walk this winter in the City Gym from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Monday throughFriday FREE.
