Creative Arts Council Programs

IN THE BALENTINE GALLERY
CURRENT EXHIBIT—”Here Comes Santa.” Displaying Santa figures in painting, pottery, carving, tree ornaments, fabric works or other artistic styles. Dec. 13-30. Greet the Santa artists today in the gallery at 4:30 p.m.

NEXT EXHIBIT—Opening Jan. 16, with reception for potters and mobile makers. Details to be announced.

SCHOOL OF BALLET
Classes on holiday break until Jan. 3.

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
New teen-adult—classes for the Fall! Guitar, Piano, Music Theory and Song Writing with John-Thomas Roseberry! Classes will begin when minimum enrollment is met.
YOGA FOR BEGINNERS—In the gallery with Susy Jones, 8 week session begins Jan. 18, $70.
RHAPSODY, RHYTHM & RHYME—Music for toddlers with Cynthia Lemmen with new session to begin in January with making “water music.”

EVENTS
OPENING RECEPTION—Sunday, Jan 16, for Pottery & Mobiles Exhibit, free event.
SERIES ON THE OUABACHE—”Ladies of the Grand Ole Opry,” Sunday, Jan. 23, 4 p.m., with Vickie Kibellus, $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

Ongoing Activities:
CAC board of directors—Monday Dec. 13, 5:15 p.m.
PHOTOGRAPHERS FORUM—On break for November and December.
READERS’ CIRCLE—Tuesday, Dec. 14, noon, carry in lunch and readings.
Artists in Action—Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Work space by arrangement with CAC office.
