Creative Arts Council Programs

Visit the Creative Arts Council’s Balentine Gallery at the Arts, Commerce & Visitors Centre, 211 West Water Street, Bluffton, Indiana 46714. HOURS—Weekdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and by arrangement with CAC Office. Email: cac@adamswells.com.

IN THE BALENTINE GALLERY
exhibit—“Barns of Indiana” by Gwen Gutwein, whose goal is to create an original painting of a barn located in every county in Indiana. Calendars depicting the barn paintings available for $16. No admission charge.

SANTA EXHIBIT—Call for entries of Santa figures in painting, pottery, carving, tree ornaments, fabric work or other artistic renderings of St. Nicholas for display Dec. 10-30. Submit to CAC.

SCHOOL OF BALLET
Classes now in session.

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
New teen-adult—classes for the Fall! Guitar, Piano, Music Theory and Song Writing with John-Thomas Roseberry! Classes will begin when minimum enrollment is met.

EVENTS
READER’S CIRCLE—Tuesday, Dec. 14, noon, with Billy Kreigh leading program. Carry-in luncheon. Free event.
FESTIVAL OF TREES—Opening Celebration, Friday, Dec. 3, 7-8 p.m., catered by Lana Miller, Tony Garton, MC and harp and piano music by the Roseberrys. Tickets $15 ($12.50 if purchased by Nov. 30). Other open house hours are 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4; noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 doe those 12 and younger.

Ongoing Activities:

PHOTOGRAPHERS FORUM—On break for November and December.
Artists in Action—Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Work space by arrangement with CAC office.
