What's Up (for Christmas)

Christmas Dinner Concert with the LeBeaus Dec. 10
Christian New Light Church will sponsor a Christmas Dinner Concert with The Lebeaus Friday, Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. at 1011 W. Washington Street, Bluffton.
The event will be held in the church fellowship hall. Tickets are $12.50 and are available at th church or from Dan and Karen Eckelbarger at 260-413-1636 or 260-273-0522.
The menu will include salisbury steak, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, homemade pie, dinner roll and drink.

Santa Claus Art Exhibit begins
Dec. 10
St. Nicholas, Kris Kringle, Father Christmas or just Santa. The Creative Arts Center has compiled an exhibit of this time honored character. Whether it’s a painting, pottery, wood carving, tree ornament, fabric work or other artistic rendering, it will be on display.

Live Nativity at
Warren Church of Christ Dec. 10 & 11
Members of the Warren Church of Christ will present a Live Nativity (The Christmas Story Comes to Life) Friday, Dec. 10 and Saturday, Dec. 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. The church is located at the corner of Wayne and Third Street.
Refreshments will be served inside the church.

South Adams
Christmas Walk
Dec. 11 and 12
Four homes in the South Adams area will be involved in a Christmas Walk. Money collected from the walk will benefit the South Adams seniors.
Homes in the walk are: Kerry and Tami Steiner, 5090W. 700S.Linn Grove.; Dave and Judy Fox 926 Bernigen Dr.; Rod and Jane Mosser at 1530 Shady Oak Dr. and Glenn and Karlene Thompson at 4665S. 000 Road. in Berne.
People coming to the walk will pay at any of the homes for admission. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Hours for the walk are 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 11 and 1 to 4 pm Dec. 12.

Santa & Mrs. Claus at Five Points School Dec. 12
Santa and Mrs. Claus will stop by to see children Sunday, Dec. 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Five Points School located at 1100S. and Jeff Road in Southern Wells.
Treats and prizes will be available for the kids. For more information call 765-728-5269.

Salamonie to hold holiday open house Dec. 12
Ring in the holidays with a celebration open house Dec. 12 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at Salamonie Interpretive Center located in Lost Bridge West Recreation Area on Hwy. 105 in western Huntington County.
Thre will be music, a visit from Santa from 2 to 3 p.m. and refreshments. Visitors can bring a gift for the center wildlife, the birds and squirrels or a can of food for the Food Bank. The first 50 people will receive a nature ornament to take home.

The Greatest Story Ever Told to be
presented Dec. 12
The Dillman Sanctuary Choir, along with the Children’s Choir, will be present The Greatest Story Every Told during both worship services Sunday, Dec. 12. The times are 8:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. at Dillman Church. A time of fellowship will be held between the services. Come and share this wonderful season with us and enjoy a cast of more than 60 people who are involved in this program. Mrytle and Ethel will share their antics with us also. Donations of food and supplies will be accepted on Dec. 12 for the Warren food pantry. You are welcome to bring donations to the church on Sunday too.
