Weekday walkers can come to City Gym
Adults can have a warm place to walk this winter in the City Gym from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Monday throughFriday FREE.

Toddler Tuesdays and Thursdays begin
Toddler Tuesdays and Thursdays will begin. Bring your tots to the gym for a warm place to play and burn off some energy. Parents must stay with their child and the first Tuesday of every month children can enjoy special activities.

American Council of Blind Conference Sept. 17-18
Anyone who has low vision, is losing vision or is blind may want to plan to attend the American Council of the Blind of Indiana's 39th annual convention Friday, Sept. 17 and Saturday, Sept. 18 at South Bend Marriott Hotel. The theme this year is “Travelling the road of future opportunities through ACBI.”

Trail of Courage Sept. 18-19
Trail of Courage Living History Festival will be held Sept. 18-19 at Rochester in Fulton County.
The Potawatomi Indians were marched single file down Rochester's Main Street Sept. 5, 1838, on the forced removal known as the Trail of Death. Since 1976 this festival has honored the American Indians and shown life before the removal when it was still Potawatomi Territory.

Garage and bake Sale at St. Paul's Sept. 17 & 18
A gently used sale plus bake sale, noodles, cookbooks will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church (Preble) at the corner of 750N and 450W in Adams County Friday, Sept. 17 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 18 from 8 a.m. to noon.
There will be a $2 bag sale on Saturday.

Pumpkin Fest Sept. 18-19 near Portland
The last Myers family Pumpkin Fest will be held Sept. 18-19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Myers Farm, located five miles north of Portland on State Road 27, then west one mile (807W., 500N). There will be pumpkins, gourds, straw bales, fall decor, mums, corn shocks, garage sales, apple cider, free petting zoo and wagon rides and an 1840 Trappers Camp in the woods.

Doggie Douse
Sept. 19
The Bluffton Parks and Recreation will sponsor a Doggie Douse Sunday, Sept. 19. This will be the last day for the splash pad. Bring your pet on a leash to the splash pad from 7 to 9 p.m. to play in the water. For more information call 824-6069 or log onto: www.blufftonindiana.net.

Montpelier
Historical Society to Hold Ice Cream Social Sept. 19
An ice cream social will be held by the Montpelier Historical Society Sunday, Sept. 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Community Building at 109 E. Huntington Street in Montpelier.
Ice cream, cookies and cake will be offered, along with coffee or iced tea.
The Museum Room will be open during the hours of the ice cream social.
Persons attending will be allowed to register for an attendance prize.
