John-Thomas Roseberry will be the instructor for a variety of music lessons for teens and adults now being offered through the Creative Arts Council of Wells County.
Each class will run for eight weekly sessions for a fee of $110. Offered will be:
Group Guitar—for ages 10 through adult, Mondays from 5 to 6 p.m.
Group Piano—for ages 10 through adult, Monday from 6 to 7 p.m.
Music Fundamentals—styles, appreciation and theory, Mondays from 7 to 8 p.m.
Music Composition and song-writing, Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m.
Thirty minute private guitar or piano lessons in limited time slots available on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Roseberry, who grew up in Northern California, holds a degree in music and has extensive background in both piano and vocal performance. In 2006 he married Lindsay Smith of Bluffton who has numerous years in harp, piano and music teaching. When they met they both were doing undergraduate studies in Chicago. They now plan to utilize their skills to enrich the community in music and the arts.
The Fundamentals and Group piano classes will be taught by both Roseberrys.
