Free youth concert June 7
Life will perform a Free Christian concert for those ages 13 and older Sunday, June 7 at 6:30 p.m. at C&C Bible Fellowship located at 4383S., 150E., Berne. Concessions will be available. For more information check out the events at: www.ccbiblefellowship.net or call 260-589-9022.

Mack Dryden to speak June 7 at Fort Wayne
Mack Dryden, international humorist and cancer surivor, will speak during National Cancer Survivor's Day 2009 Sunday, June 7 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Fort Wayne Marriott Hotel at 305 E. Washington Center Road in Fort Wayne. The event is free, however, reservations are required by calling 260-484-9560.

Free kid lunch at Life Church June 9
A free lunch for kids will be served Tuesday June 9 from 11 am to noon at Life Community Church located at 428 S. Oak Street, Bluffton. The lunch will consist of hotdogs, chips, cookies and a drink. Lunch will be served outside of the Life building on the Oak Street side entrance. For more information call 824-2252.

Hair Braiding Class June 12
A Hair Braiding class will be offered in the City Hall building from 11 a.m. to noon Friday June 12 for anyone ages 13 to adult who would like to learn.
Those attending need to bring a friend or child with long hair to practice on. This free program will teach how to French braid, and backbone (reverse French braiding). To register call the park office at 824-6069.

Pianist Robyn Wells to perform June 13 in Van Wert
Pianist Robyn Wells will perform a concert of classical music Saturday, June 13 at the First United Methodist Church, 113 W. Central Ave. in Van Wert. The concert, which begins at 7 p.m., is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted.
The concert to be presented features works by Mozart, Chopin, Saint-Saƫns, Carpenter, Poulenc, Schubert, and others. The music varies from lyrical and serene to a series of technical fireworks. For more information call 419-238-0631.

Float with birds at Wahk-Shin-Gah Lake June 13
Bring a kayak and join an early morning bird-watching event with a twist at Wahk-Shin-Gah Lake June 13.
Kayakers will take to the water and paddle around the lake in search of birds. Participants should meet at 7:30 a.m. at J. Edward Roush Lake’s main office on Indiana 5. From there, it’s a short drive to Wahk-Shin-Gah Lake. Participants should bring binoculars, bird identification books, drinks and snacks. The program is free to participants using their own kayak. A limited number of kayaks are available for rent. There is a $5 rental fee. Register by calling (260) 468-2127. Park entrance fees of $5 per vehicle for Indiana residents and $7 per vehicle for non-residents will apply.
