Free Chili Supper Feb. 18
The Southern Wells Community Church will sponsor a free Chili Supper Friday, Feb. 18 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Southern Wells High School before the Southern Wells and Blackford boys basketball game.

The Way of the
Master begins
Feb. 20
Starting Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. Community Christian Fellowship will offer “The Way of the Master” basic training course. Discover how to reach them biblically and confidently in an eight week study by Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron. Community Christian is located at 1309 W. Washington Street, Bluffton. Learning Tree
Academy fundraiser Feb. 21
The Learning Tree Academy of the Ossian United Methodist Church will be hosting their annual fundraiser at East of Chicago on Monday, Feb. 21, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Learning Tree will receive $1 for each buffet sold and all tips (dine-in only). The teaching staff and school board will be waiting and cleaning tables and helping in the kitchen.

Free blood pressure check Feb. 21
The South Adams Senior Center will sponsor a free blood pressure check Monday, Feb. 21 at 12:30 p.m. Bingo with prizes and refreshments will follow at 1 p.m. For more information call 260-589-8877. (2/7)

Friends of the
Shelter meeting
Feb. 22
Monthly meeting of “Friends of the Shelter” will be held Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 5:30 p.m. at the Bluffton Police Department conference room. Topics are upcoming events, building maintenance and spay and neuter updates. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Women of the Word Conference March 5
The fifth annual Women of the Word Conference will take place on Saturday, March 5from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m at Covenant Chapel (Old Poplar Grove School.) It is open to men, women and young adults.
Amy Schafer, a pastor's wife from Pennsylvania, will be the keynote speaker. Ty Kinsey will be share his testimony. Special music will be presented by Tab Beechler.
Tickets are $8. Lunch will be included. To purchase tickets or for more information, call 820-0344. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

Swiss Steak or Ham dinner Fundraiser March 6
The Hoagland Area Advancement Association will sponsor a Swiss Steak or Ham Dinner at Hoagland Park Pavilion Sunday, March 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Advance tickets are $7 for adults or $8 at the door, $4 for children ages six to 12 or $5 at the door. Children under age five are free. For tickets call 260-639-3132.
Food will be prepared by Betty Bullerman-Peters and the Bullerman family.
The pavilion is located at 11320 Hoagland Road.
