Creation rehearsals on Tuesdays
The Mennonite Choral Society will begin rehearsals for "Creation" on Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. at the First Mennonite Church in Berne.
Rehearsals will continue weekly thru Tuesday, April 26, with the dress rehearsal on Saturday, April 30 and the performance on Sunday, May 1. No tryout is necessary.


Washington D.C. Trip offered in March
The Bluffton First United Methodist Church UMM are planning a trip to Washington D.C. March 27 through April 1. The coach trip will include visits to major monuments and more. Master Naturalists accepting applications
There is still time to get registered to attend the local Indiana Master Naturalist training program, which begins Wednesday, Feb. 16 and continue each Wednesday evening into April from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
Each session will cover a topic relating to Indiana’s natural resources or environmental interpretation. Graduates from this program must complete volunteer service to attain the Master Naturalist title. The fee for the program is $75.

Senior lunch Feb. 7
Individuals age 50 or older are invited to learn about the Huntington County Purdue Extension during the Feb. 7 Seniors' Lunch at Salamonie Interpretive Center.
The program will kick off with a 12:30 p.m. meal. The meat dish is provided. Those attending should bring a dish to share, table service and $1 to help defray the cost of the meat dish. To reserve a spot call 260-468-2127 by Feb. 4.


Swan Lake performance reslated for Feb. 7
The performance of Swan Lake at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center of NW Ohio in Van Wert has been rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m. with pre-show lecture still at 6:30 pm. Call 419-238-6722 or visit the www.npacvw.org website.


‘How to Roll Sushi’ Feb. 10
Michael Zadylak will offer an encore class in the styles and techniques of sushi-making Feb. 10 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Creative Arts Council at 211 Water St., Bluffton.
From the simple California roll to more exotic components, this class will offer a new culinary skill for the new year. After eating what they’ve created, participants will take home a sushimat, recipes and instructions.
Cost is $9 per person and is due by Feb. 4.
