Monday, Feb. 28
Swiss Stitchers Quilt Guil--Social Corner at Swiss Village in Berne; 7 p.m. This is a working meeting to get started on the 2011 Raffle quilt. This quilt will be a 4 to 9 Patch scrappy quilt. We are asking each member to donate several blocks for the quilt. Carol Malone will do a refresher of the 4 to 9 patch block then we will sew our blocks. Please bring the following to the meeting; sewing machine, neutral thread, rotary cutter, ruler, rotating mat (if you have one) and fabric for the blocks. Stitches of Hope--First United Methodist Church 325 W. Washington St. Bluffton; 6 p.m. All welcome. Stitchers crochet, knit and sew caps, free of charge. For information call 824-8743.

Tuesday, March 1
Creative Quilters Quilt Guild--Country Creations; 6:30 p.m. Located at 5342 N 400 West near Preble. Treva Gerke will present the program. She will demonstrate different ways to embellish projects. Show and Tell, block of the month drawing and door prizes. Refreshments are served before the meeting. Anyone with an interest in quilting is invited to attend.
Cardinal Bird Club--Wells County Public Library; 6:30 p.m. Jerry Moser will speak about bluebirds. Public is welcome.
