New Lyrical Dance Lessons to being Feb. 1
The beginning of 2011 brings a new class and introduces a new teacher to the School of Ballet.
Creative Arts Council will be offer a class in Lyrical Dance under the direction of Amanda Berhalter.
Classes will begin Tuesday, Feb. 1 and last for six weeks. Class size will be limited to 10 students.
Lyrical dance is a combination of ballet, modern, drama and creative expression. It is a beautiful but controlled free form dance. Contact CAC to register to learn the art of lyrical dance!

Travel Adventure Series: Wales Feb. 3
The 2011 Travel Adventure Series will continue with a presentation on Wales Thursday, Feb. 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Creative Arts Council at 211 W. Water Street, Bluffton. Think Wales and behold images of Celts, choir, castles, Cardiff, coal mines, coastline and pastoral mountain valleys dotted with sheep. Wales is a small country with its own language and a large influence. Explore the U.S., Welsh connections, particularly in Upstate New York, as well as the historic homeland on the eastern shore of the Irish Sea. Join filmmaking musician Monty for a memorable journey to Wales: Land of Song. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children.
