Smokey Bear goes Camping
June 23 and 24
Enjoy learning about nature in an active way with your childre or grandchild. Register him or her for the Smokey Bear Camping Program designed for youth ages two through five Wednesday, June 23 and Thursday, June 24 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Salamonie Interpretive Center at 3691 S. New Holland Road, Andrews.
It will be a one and half hour program focused on wildfire prevention and camping at the reservoirs. There is a $2 fee per child. The property entrance fee is waived for program attendees. For more information call 260-468-2127 or log onto: www.dnr.IN.gov/uwis.

Clifford the Big Red Dog visits HCTPL Libraries June 24-25
Clifford the Big Red Dog is coming to Huntington City-Twp. Public Library in celebration of HCTPL's Summer Reading Club programs and the Scholastic Book Fair!
Kids of all ages are invited to meet Clifford the Big Red Dog who will appear at the Main Library at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 24 in the Children's Department, and at the Markle Branch Library at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 25.

Archery Shoot &
Hog Roast June 26
South West Conservation Club, Inc., 5703 Bluffton Rd., Fort Wayne, again is hosting an Archery Shoot and Hog Roast, with proceeds donated to benefit Hunters Helping Hunters, Saturday, June 26.
Archery shoot will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., hog roast from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and 5 p.m. until close entertainment by Midlife Crisis and The Friendly Spooners. Cost is $9 for each event. Entertainment is at no charge.

Huntington Library summer Scholastic Book Fair June 21-26
Huntington City-Twp. Public Library, located at 255 West Park Drive, will sponsor a Scholastic Book Fair from June 21-26 in the Children's Program Room.
Offerings will include fiction and non-fiction books for kids ages birth through 18, including popular series, activity and science books,and more.
