Symphony on the green at Muncie June 12
On Saturday, June 12, at 8 p.m. the Muncie Symphony Orchestra will present their annual Symphony on the Green concert at the Ball State University Quad in front of the Museum of Arts Terrace. Prior to the concert the Ball State Alumni Association will host a BBQ on the Green from 6 to 8 p.m. Cost is $20 per adult, $10 per child, which includes the picnic buffet, two complimentary beverages and reserve seating for the concert. (Reservations needed by June 4, to 765-285-1080.) Conducting the orchestra will be Bohuslav Rattay, artistic director from the Czech Republic.

Concerts in the Park begins June 15 at Gas City
The Gas City area Chamber of Commerce and the Gas City Park and Recreation Department will present Concerts in the Park beginning June 15 with the Mississinewa Community Band. They will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the Eugene Linn Band Shell in the Gas City Park. Concessions will be available. Concerts are free. Those attending should bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Rain location is the Mississinewa Middle School gym on Main Street in Gas City. Call 765-674-7545.
