What's Up?

Dinner to
feature Porter
On Monday, April 5, at 6:30 p.m,. the Wells County Historical Society will hold its annual dinner meeting at the Wells County Public Library meeting room. Cost is $15.
Pendy Selking will present the program “Through the Years with Gene Stratton Porter—Fashion and History.”
Reservations are needed by April 1, to the Wells county Historical Society, P.O. Box 143, Bluffton, IN 46714.

April blood
drives set
by Red Cross
The Northeast Indiana Chapter of the American Red Cross has set dates and locations for upcoming blood drives in Wells County.
They are:
• Saturday, April 10, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Wells 4-H Park and County Community Center, located at 1240 South 4-H Road in Bluffton. Call 824-1689 to schedule a blood donation appointment.
• Sunday, April 11, from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 1300 N. Main St. in Bluffton. Call 824-1380 to schedule a blood donation appointment.
• Sunday, April 11, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Life Church in the library, located at 428 S. Oak St. in Bluffton.

Individuals who are 17 years of age, meet weight and height requirements (110 pounds or more, depending on their height) and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. Please bring your Red Cross blood donor card or other form of positive ID when you come to donate.
