Bluffton Christian School concert and fundraiser March 5
Bluffton Christian School will hold a concert and fundraiser Friday, March 5 at 7 p.m. at Community Christian Fellowship Church. The event will feature Unity, Dr. Bell and Megan Spangler. Donations will be taken at the door.

Free admission to Science Central March 6 for Doctors Day
The Fort Wayne Medical Society Alliance will sponsor the 15th annual Doctor's Day, a hands-on health fair for kids, Saturday, March 6 from 10 a.m. to 3p.m. at Science Central. Admission is free for the entire family.
Those attending will see medical demonstrations, visit the Teddy Bear Care Clinic, buy a bike helmet, have a removable cast made for your finger, learn about burn prevention and treatment, tour Parkview Samaritan and Lutheran Air medical helicopters, explore an ambulance, learn about healthy eating and exercise habits, and win door prizes. March 6 and 7
The Jesters, a troupe of 35 actors and artistss with special needs ranging in ages from eight to 34, will perform DaisyJack Saturday, March 6 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 7 at 3 p.m. at Saint Francis North Campus Auditorium at 2702 Spring Street, Fort Wayne. Tickets are $10 each.
DaisyJack is an original story about everyday men and women searching fro the place where they belong.

Adams Central Swing Choir Concert March 7
Adams Central Swing Choir will perform in concert Sunday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at St. Luke Church Activity Center at 4960 W. 100 N. Decatur. Refreshments following the concert.

NMS Fundraiser March 8 at East of Chicago
There will be a Norwell Middle School Band fundraiser Monday, March 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. at East of Chicago Pizza in Ossian. Part of the proceeds will go to the band.

Friends of Animal Shelter meeting March 9
A Friends of the Animal Shelter meeting will be held Tuesday, March 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the Bluffton City Hall conference room.
Items to be discussed: upcoming events and fundraisers. Interested people are encouraged to attend the meeting. For more information call 260-273-1742.

Weather spotter class March 10
The National Weather Service will host a class for weather spotters at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 10. The class will be held in the meeting room of the Wells County Annex, 223 W. Washington St.
The two-hour long class will cover identifying warm weather hazards and how to properly identify tornadoes and reporting weather events to the NWS. The class is free and open to anyone.

Fish and Chicken Strip Dinner March 13
Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church will host a Fish and Chicken Strips Dinner Saturday, March 13 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at 1819 Reservation Drive, off Bluffton Road in Waynedale. The dinner will be prepared by Country Chef.
The dinner will include fish and/or chicken strips, potato wedges, applesauce or cole slaw, rolls, drinks and desserts.
Tickets are $8.50 for adults, $5.50 for children ages six through 11 and free for those under age five. All carryouts are $8.50 each. Tickets are available at the church office by calling 747-4121, ext. 10 and at the door.

Soup and Sandwich Dinner March 14
The Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church at Friedheim will hold a soup and sandwich dinner with a craft and bake sale Sunday, March 14 at Wyneken Memorial Lutheran School at 11565 U.S. Hwy. 27 North in Decatur.
The menu will include homemade soups and sandwiches, salads and desserts. Serving will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Drive-through and carry-out will also be available.
