Markle Volunteer Fire Department fundraiser underway
The Markle Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a fundraiser to provide special training that will help the firefighters perform their life saving duties and to purchase items for which tax dollars are not available.
Each family making a donation will receive an 8x10 natural color studio portrait. The portraits will be taken at the Markle Fire Station the weekend of April 17. Pets are welcome. Donors will be contacted to schedule a time to have the photo taken that weekend. The fire department will receive and additional $10 for each family photographed.

Dinner And A Komet canceled
Dinner And A Komet, scheduled for Monday, March 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Embassy Theatre, has been canceled. Refunds for the March 22 event are now available at the point-of-purchase (Ticketmaster outlet where tickets were purchased).
