No longer accepting donations
Calvary Lutheran Church, located on North Main Street in Bluffton, is done accepting donations of clothes and books, etc. for the Christmas and Assitance Bureau.

Christmas at Five Points School
Dec. 13
Come and enjoy an old-fashioned Christmas at the restored Five Points School Saturday, Dec. 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. Santa will be there to visit with children. There will be treats and surprises for all. For more information call 260-824-5461.

Brad M Sawyer returning home for the holidays Dec. 14
Hometown soldier Brad Sawyer is coming home from Iraq Monday, Dec. 14, just in time for the holidays.
He has been fighting the war in Iraq since June 2009. He will return to Iraq after the holidays to complete the rest of his tour, until June 2010. He will be coming home to his wife and four children in Wells county.

Zanesville Lions Lighting Contest Dec. 20
Judging will be held from dusk to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20 for the Zanesville Lions Community Lighting Contest. Cash prizes will be awarded. All houses within town limits will be judged. Houses within two miles will be judged if homeowners register by calling 260-638-4327.

Paws and Claus
Dec. 16
Paws and Claus will be held Wednesday, Dec. 16 from 6:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Bluffton City Gym.
Those attending can take pet photos with Santa. Bring your own camera or plan to purchase a photo on site.

Winter Wonderland Dec. 17
The annual Christmas display in the Bluffton City Gym will be held Thursday, Dec. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Don’t miss the beautiful scenes of the holiday season. Enjoy refreshments and a visit with Santa Claus. Call 824-6069.

Senior Luncheon Dec. 16
The December Senior Luncheon will be held at the South Adams Senior Center, 825 Hendricks St, Berne Wednesday, Dec. 16 at noon Please note the change of date to one week earlier.
The menu will consist of ham, baked potato, california blend vegetables, roll and butter, assorted pies, lemonade and coffee. It will be catered by Norm's Preble Gardens.
The cost is $5 per person. December birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged and door prizes will be given away. Entertainment will be furnished by Chester and Carol Longenberger. Please call 589-8877 to sign up and reservations are due by Monday, Dec. 14.
Anyone age 55 and above from any of the surrounding areas are welcome to attend.
