What's Up (For the Holidays)

Norwell Swim Dive flower bouquet fundraiser
A year of flower bouquets for only $30. That's right! A bouquet of flowers every month of the year - from January through December 2010!
For only $30, you will receive a certificate good for 12 wrapped bouquets (one per month), and redeem at Country Squire Florist in Bluffton. Each month there is a specific bouquet available. The flowers are fresh and the arrangements are beautiful!
Certificates can be purchased at Norwell Middle School Pool during home swim meets through Jan. 22, 2010. Swim team may also have a table at home basketball and wrestling meets. Fish and Tenderloin Supper Dec. 18
A Fish and Tenderloin Supper will be held Friday, Dec. 18 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at South West Conservation Club, Inc., at 5703 Bluffton Road, Fort Wayne. The event is open to the public. Call 260-747-4677.

Shopping Day at Limberlost Dec. 19
Limberlost State Historic Site will have a special
Christmas shopping day Saturday, Dec. 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free to shoppers and holiday refreshments will be served. All items in the gift shop will be discounted 20 percent. Regular charges for a guided tour still apply.
All profits generated from the sale of gift shop items are used to fund various projects at the site and educational programs at restored Limberlost wetlands.
While visiting shoppers can see the Limberlost cabin decorated for the season.

BMS benefit talent show Dec. 22
On Dec., 22, at 12:15 p.m., the Bluffton Middle School will be holding their first BMS Has Talent, benefit talent show for Riley Children's Hospital. Over thirty students will be competing for cash prizes by performing a variety of acts including singing, dancing, judo, piano and much, much more.
Local celebrities, including emcee Mayor Ellis, have agreed to be guest judges and support this worthy cause.
Tickets for the show are on sale now. Reserved seating seats on the floor for parents, students and guests begin at $5 for a front row seat down to $2 for fourth row seats. All other seats, which include floor and bleacher seating, are $1. Tickets can be purchased by students or through the office. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to Riley Children's Hospital.
