Hundreds of free videos-on-demand now available at WCPL

What do these videos have in common?: Great Cemeteries of the World, My Parents Are Aliens and High Intensity Kickboxing.
They are just a few of the free new videos ready to be downloaded at home 24/7 from the Wells County Public Library. MyLibraryDV, a free video-on-demand service through the library website, gives access to hundreds of DVD-quality programming to anyone with a valid library card. And it’s all free.
New videos are added frequently and the collection just keeps growing. Here are just a few of the new videos added this month:
Exercise Videos: Start working out with the pros in a variety of exercise videos for all ages and fitness levels. “D’s Hip-Hop Aerobics”, “Firefighter’s Workout”, “Kabbalah Yoga”, “Look Great Naked” and “Fit After 40”.
Today’s Homeowner: There are no excuses for putting off those remodeling projects with videos guides for “Paver Patios”, Composite Deck Building” and “Screened Porch Additions”.
America’s Test Kitchen: Full length episodes of this popular cooking show including “Cookie Jar Favorites”, Drive-In Specials” and “Favorite Crock Pot Classics”.
Great Cemeteries of the World: Travel the globe and tour such well known graveyards as “Arlington National Cemetery”, “Greyfriars Cemetery & Abby” and “Hollywood Forever Cemetery”.
Life Skills for Young Adults: A helpful guide for those just entering the workforce. Topics include “The Global Marketplace: How Will You Compete?”, “Taking Credit for Your Credit”, and “Succeeding on Your Own”.
Children’s Programming: “My Parents are Aliens”, “Supernormal”, “Fetch the Vet”, “Engie Benjy”.
These new videos join the broad range of other free videos such as foreign films, classic movies, travels shows, documentaries and educational shows. You will even find TV episodes of Antique Roadshow, Agatha Christie’s Poirot and Rick Steve’s Europe.
Those with a library card can download up to 10 videos at a time. Each program has a seven-day checkout. After seven days, the program is no longer viewable and you simply delete it from your computer.

1) Log onto the Wells County Public Library website at www.wellscolibrary.org.
2) Click “Databases”.
3) Scroll down to MyLibrary DV and click.
4) Follow the easy directions to select your videos and download to your home computer.
