Muselman Wellness Pavilion Food Drive
The Muselman Wellness Pavilion is celebrating the holiday season by collecting non-perishable food items. The Wellness Pavilion will host the food drive from now throughout the rest of December.
All non-perishable food items collected will be donated to a local food bank. For more information call the Wellness Pavilion at 260-589-4496.
Wyneken Craft Show Dec. 5
The 17th Annual Christmas Craft Show at Wyneken Memorial Lutheran School will be held Saturday, Dec. 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wyneken is located seven miles north of Decatur and 11 miles south of Fort Wayne on U.S. 27, just south of the Adams/Allen County Line Road.
There will be over 60 vendors displaying unique crafts and goods – Christmas decorations and gifts of wood crafts, knitted, crocheted, and embroidered items, jewelry, books, and many other unique items.
Treats at the Cookie Corner will also be available for purchase. A homemade lunch with soup, sandwich, and homemade pie will also be served. This event is sponsored by the Wyneken eighth grade class to help fund their class trip to Washington D.C. next spring.
Breakfast with Santa Dec. 5
The Norwell Show Choirs will sponsor Breakfast with Santa Saturday, Dec. 5 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Ossian Elementary School cafeteria. Cost: $5 per person. Infants under six months, accompanied by paying family members, are free! Santa will attend to greet children! Pictures with Santa included! Breakfast menu will include: biscuits and gravy, hash browns, smoky links, cereal, donuts, dutch crunch dessert, coffee, milk and juice. Visit the Little Elves Store where children can shop for gifts for family members!
Elves will be available to help children shop and to wrap presents. All gifts are $2. Proceeds will go to Norwell High School Show Choirs.
Come to the stable Dec. 5 & 6 in Decatur
First United Methodist Church at 502 W. Monroe Street, Decatur will present Come to the Stable, a special collection of over 40 Nativity scenes and crèches, on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 5 and 6.
The nativities are unique and diverse, ranging from a hand-carved wooden nativity from West Africa to a locally hand-crafted stained glass piece to cherished family heirlooms, including a hand-carved fireplace screen.
Come to the Stable was a part of the Adams County Historical Society Christmas Walk last year, and because it was so well-received, the church wanted to present it again this year free of charge to the public.
Please feel welcome to Come to the Stable and experience the true spirit of Christmas! Hours are 1 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5 and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6. Call 260-724-3158 for more information. No tickets are required.
Warren RoadRunners December Bus Trips
The Warren RoadRunners, a bus ministry of the Warren Church of Christ, will host bus trip Dec. 5 to The Gaither Studio in Anderson for a Christmas Tea. A few seats are still available. Also on Dec. 6, they will host a Christmas concert with Barry Jamison, at the Warren Church of Christ, in conjunction with the church's 110th Anniversary celebration at 6 p.m. There will be a light supper at 5 p.m..
On Dec. 9 they will take a trip to the Edinburg Outlet Mall at Taylorsville, Indiana.

Mayor's Holiday Open House Dec. 7
The Mayor's Holiday Open House will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, at City Hall. Stop by for refreshments and entertainment. For information, call824-1520.
Senior lunch at Salamonie Dec. 7
Those age 50 and older are invited to enjoy the Huntington County Master Gardeners present a dried flower craft at the Dec. 7 Seniors' lunch at Salamonie Interpretive Center.
