Mt. Calvary Fish & Chicken Strips Dinner March 7
Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Dr., off Bluffton Rd. in Waynedale is hosting a Fish & Chicken Strips Dinner prepared by Country Chef on Saturday, March 7, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. This “plated dinner” includes a generous serving of fish and/or chicken strips, potato wedges, applesauce or coleslaw, rolls, drinks, and a variety of desserts. Watercolor Painting Workshop begins March 7
A Watercolor Painting Workshop will be held March 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Creative Arts Center of Wells County. Cost is $85 per person.
Mark Polomchak is back and taking enrollments for his newest watercolor class! Polomchak is a 1975 graduate in Fine Art at Indiana University.

Pancake and Whole Hog Sausage Brunch March 7
The Preble Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor an all-you-can-eat Pancake and Whole Hog Sausage Brunch Saturday, March 7 from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Preble Fireman's Park Pavilion, located four miles west of Decatur on U.S. 224.

Outlaws 4-H Club Tack and Misc. Auction and Hog Roast March 7
The Outlaws 4-H Club will sponsor a Tack and Misc. Auction and Hog Roast in conjunction with Running W Tack on Saturday March 7th. Auction starts at 6 p.m. Preview auction items and food serving will be at 5 p.m. All proceeds go to the Outlaws 4-H club.
The auction will be held at Van Wert County Fairgrounds in the Jr. Fair Building. All types of horse items will be up for auction including: Halters, Leads, Saddles, Brushes, Hoof Picks, Buckets, Pads…. Home Furnishings, Trinkets, and much much more. Release your inner Martha at Good Things Book Club at the Wells County Public Library on Monday, March 9 at 1 p.m.

Anxiety, Panic and Depression support group meets March 9
C&C Bible Fellowship “Yes You Can!” Support Group will start it's 15 week program March 9 at 6:30 p.m.
This group teaches coping skills as well as provides support to those who suffer from anxiety, panic and depression. The last week to sign up is March 13, 2009, then the group will be closed.

Redirecting Everyday Power Struggles March 12
Redirecting Everyday Power Struggles from Toddlers to Teenagers will be presented by Dr. Tim Jordan Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.
Many parents today experience power struggles with their children over issues such as bedtime, food, homework, morning routines and chores. Tim Jordan, M.D., will help you understand why kids misbehave, as well as how to prevent and redirect power struggles. Dr. Jordan will also discuss the role of temperament, how to run family meetings and how to not lose it!

Fort Wayne Women’s Bureau annual meeting March 17
The 33rd annual meeting of the Fort Wayne Women’s Bureau will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Source One Solutions, 2135 Spy Run Avenue, Fort Wayne.

The business meeting agenda includes reports from the Chair of the Board of Directors and the Treasurer, consideration of an amendment to the Bylaws, the election of new board members, and the presentation of staff service recognition awards. The Northeastern Indiana Beekeepers Association will host a Beginners Night Thursday, March 19 at 7 p.m. at the Chapel at 2505 W. Hamilton Road, 1/4 mile south of State Road 14.
Topics will include: getting started, getting bees, what to wear, diseases, hive assembl and honey.
Experienced beekeepers, magazines and other resource material will be available.
