Sauder Village offers free admission to military
Sauder Village has announced that they are participating in the Blue Star Museums Program again this year by offering free admission to military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2014.
This is the fifth year for Blue Star Museums, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to the nation’s active duty military personnel including National Guard and Reserve and their families.
Sauder Village summer hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon-4 p.m.  The Village is closed on Mondays, except holidays. Regular admission is $16 for adults, $14 for seniors, $10 for students (6-16) and free for members and children five and under. Again this year, children 16 and under are free every Sunday this season!

Grandpa and Me Build a Shelf June 8
The Parks Department is accepting registration for Grandpa and Me Build a display shelf. 
This event will be held on Sunday, June 8 at Kehoe Park from 2 to 3:30 p.m. It is open to both boys and girls. Cost is $6 per shelf due that day. Those attending will need to bring a hammer. To register call 824-6069. 

German choir concerts listed
The Fort Wayne Maennerchor/Damenchor will be presenting several concerts this season.
On Sunday. June 8. at 11 a.m. they will be at Saint Peter Catholic Church in Fort Wayne for a Germanfest Deutsche Messe.
On Sunday, June 8, at 4:30 p.m. they will present Germanfest Heimatabend Konzert at Park Edelweiss, 3355 Elmhurst Dr. in Fort Wayne.
Other appearances will be at Oktoberfest, Sept. 27; A Taste of Germany, Oct. 18; Christmas Market, Nov. 22, and Weihnachtskonzert on Dec. 14.

Gospel Meeting June 11 & 18
A Gospel meeting will be held June 11 and June 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Wells County Public Libray. It is open to the public.
This is a non-denominational gospel meeting. No literature will be given and no collection will be taken.
Speakers will be Jason McInally and Mark Peters. For more information call 301- 643-3675
