Pottery Class begins July 7
A new pottery class will be offered July 7, 9 and 16 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Bluffton High School artroom.
Learn how to make a press mold bowl and/or plate design on the first day, then on the second day clean up the mold and add any surface decorations to the clay. 
After clay has been fired come back and glaze the piece (put a colored, glass-like coating over the top to make it dinnerware safe.) 
Class is for adults and youth over 10 years old. Those attending should enter door 2. Cost is a one time fee of $20 for materials. Checks can be mailed to the parks department at 128 E Market St., Bluffton, IN 46714.

Silent movie at FW’s Embassy
On Monday, July 7 at 7 p.m. the Embassy Theatre will present the Buster Keaton classic movie “The General” as part of the annual convention of the American Theatre Organ Society.
Walt Strony will be at the Grande Page organ as the accompanist for the silent film. The film is considered by critics to be one of the greatest films ever made and ends in a chase scene and a train crash.

This event is free and does not require a ticket.
