Festival of Trees at Indy’s History Center begins Nov. 27
From Nov. 27 to Jan. 2, the Indianapolis History Center will host a Festival of Trees.
Hours for visiting are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays between Thanksgiving and the new year. Daily events include sing-alongs in the Cole Porter room. On Saturdays during December Santa will visit from noon to 4 p.m. (before Christmas) and craft making and face painting from noon to 4 p.m.
The Melchior Marionettes will present a Holiday Cabaret show on Sunday, Dec. 13 and Sunday, Dec. 20 at noon, 12:45 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.

Youth violinists to play with Piano Guys at Embassy Dec. 3
Eight violinists from the Fort Wayne Youth Symphony Orchestra will be performing with The Piano Guys on Thursday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the Embassy Theatre in Fort Wayne.
The Piano Guys are four dads from Utah who became  an Internet sensation by way of their immensely successful series of strikingly original self-made music videos. They have made over 50 videos including a gorgeous reinvention of the hit song “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen.
Tickets are priced from $71 to $74 and may be arranged for at the Embassy box office or at Ticketmaster. More information at www.fwembassytheatre.org.

Indy’s Author Fair at History Center Dec. 5
On Saturday, Dec. 5, the Indiana Historical Society will host a Holiday Author Fair at the Indiana Historical Center, 450 West Ohio St. in Indianapolis.
More than 70 Indiana authors will be gathered in Eli Lilly Hall offering signed books for sale. Authors will include James Alexander Thom, Philip Gulley, Helen Frost, Jim Madison, Dan Carpenter and Jeanne White-Ginder. 
The wide variety will include fiction, nonfiction and children’s titles.
Admission is free and includes the Indiana Experience and Festive al of Trees. Complimentary parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Southern Wells Live Nativity Dec. 6
Members of Southern Wells Community Church will present a Live Nativity Sunday, Dec. 6 from 5:30-8 p.m.  at Montpelier Ag  Advantage, 240 W. Windsor Street,  Montpelier. There will be parking,  and bus parking.
Enjoy hot apple cider and sweet bread and while visiting the nativity. as an interactive re-creation of the birth of Christ.
