Limberlost Christmas at the Cabin going on now
Christmas at the Cabin, a month-long celebration of the Limberlost Cabin’s 120th Christmas is open to the public for tours began Saturday, Nov. 28 and will remain on view through Thursday, Dec. 31. The home is located on the grounds of the Limberlost State Historic Site.
Guests will tour the Queen Anne-style rustic home of 20th century novelist, naturalist, and photographer Gene Stratton-Porter and view rooms filled with period antiques and vintage heirlooms. The entire first floor and portions of the exterior will be decorated to reflect the sights, scents and sounds of a winter wonderland.  
The Limberlost State Historic Site is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
Admission to Christmas at the Cabin is included in regular admission prices. A ticket purchase is good the entire month of December.  
Anyone purchasing a regular admission ticket now or during the month of December is welcome to visit the Limberlost Cabin as much as they like for no extra charge.

Ossian Hometown Christmas Dec. 3
Ossian Hometown Christmas will be held downtown on Thursday, Dec. 3 from 6-7:30 p.m.
Chili made by Helen Witte will be available in the parking lot behind BKM Realty.
Activities include a tree lighting, a visit from Santa Claus, performance by Jefferson Street Singers and more. Activities are as as follows:
Business Open Houses will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. There will be a Dessert or Appetizer Contest, a Window Decoration Contest, a Merchant Tree Decorating Contest and a Wreath Decorating Contest where viewers can vote for their favorite. 
Santa will be at the former Brew Ha to visit with children. There will be live holiday music throughout downtown, Psi Otes members will be at the Harris Building on Main Street selling cheese balls for $7 each. Don Ferrell will have his Elf Train running on East Craig Street. Ossian Nazarene Church will sponsor a Live Nativity.

Glick Family in concert Dec. 4
A Christmas Concert with the Glick Family will be held Friday, Dec. 4 a6 7 p.m. at Nottingham Community Church located at State Road 1 and 1100S.
A free will offering will be taken. The evening of Christmas music will be followed by a time of food and fellowship.

‘Nutcracker’ at  FW’s Arts UnitedCenter Dec. 4-13
Fort Wayne’s School of Ballet will present “The Nutcrackers” from Dec. 4 through Dec. 13, at the Arts United Center in Fort Wayne in connection with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. Tickets range in price for adults from $45 to $49, for seniors from $39 to $43, for youth from $30 to $39 and for children from $28 to $33. Montpelier Lions Club Christmas Auction Dec. 5
The annual Lions Club Christmas Auction will be held Saturday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. 

There will be new merchandise included in the auction. The kitchen will be open. The club is located at the corner of High and Jefferson Streets in Montpelier.
