Toddler Time on Tuesdays and Thursdays
The Bluffton City Gym will be open every Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to noon for Toddler Time where people to bring their tots to burn off some energy.
This is a free drop in program that will give young children a chance to play with others their age in a large open space. Balls will be made available in the storage closet at the East end of the gym when the children arrive. Parents are responsible for their children. 
The first Tuesday of each month the Parks Department will offer a special tour or activity. Sign in on the wooden door each visit and turn off the gym lights if you are the last to leave. For more information call 824-6069.

Coloring contest pages are due by Dec. 16
The Bluffton Parks and Recreation FREE Giant Stocking Coloring Contest will get underway soon. Coloring contests will be sent to the local schools, online at http://www.blufftonindiana.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/giantstockingcoloringcontest2014.pdf. It can also be picked up in the park office for children to color for a chance to win a giant stocking full of toys and treats.
Pages must be turned into the park office  at 128 E. Market St. by Dec 16.  A winner will be called by Dec 18. 

Voices of Christmas program Dec. 5
A Christmas Musical will be performed Saturday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church at 16933 Thiele Road in Fort Wayne.
It will be presented by the Ossian Area Churches Community Choir and the Whispering Meadows Children’s Choir.

Santa’s Mailbox opens today
Santa’s Mailbox will be located on the front steps of the City Hall building beginning today, Nov. 23. 
The Bluffton Parks Department will be happy to deliver your child’s letter to Santa between Nov. 23 and Dec. 18. Each child will receive a personalized letter back with a small gift enclosed. 
Please make sure that the child’s name and address are clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. 
This is a free service and no postage is needed. Questions call 824-6069.

Rotary Christmas Fundraiser orders due by Nov. 24
 The Bluffton Rotary Christmas fundraiser is going on now. Orders are due by Nov. 24.
For sale is Mackinac Island Fudge. Cost is $20 for 1.5 pounds. Each box contains three half-pound slices of chocolate fudge, chocolate peanut butter fudge, and turtle fudge.
Also for sale are Hellers Nursery red poinsettias. The cost is $16 each.

Gingerbread fest at History Center  set for Nov. 27
The 30th Annual Festival of Gingerbread will be held at the History Center in Fort Wayne from Nov. 27 to Dec. 13.
On Tuesday, Nov. 24, there will be a gale evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with admission $25 per person. On Wednesday, Nov. 25, hours will be from 3 to 9 p.m. and admission is $3. Santa will arrive at 5 p.m.
