Historical Society looking for volunteers
The Wells County Historical Society has volunteer positions open on it’s Board of Directors. Anyone with an interest in local history may contact the society at 260-273-1878 or any board member.
FW Civic presents ‘33 Variations’
The Fort Wayne Civic Theatre will be presenting “33 Variations” at the Artslab Black Box Theater in the Auer Center on March 20-April 4.
There will be 8 p.m. performances on March 20, 21, 27, 28, April 3, 4; at 7:30 p.m. performances on March 26 and April 2; and 2 p.m. performances on March 22 & 29.
Members of the cast include Julie Donnell, Eileen Ahlersmeyer, Cody Sheets, Stuart Hepler, James Del Priore, Paul Faulkner and Susan Domer.
Admission is $25 for adults, $22 for seniors and $17 to those 23 and younger. To arrange for tickets all 260-424-5220. The box office is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m. in the front of the Arts United Center, 303 East Main St. in Fort Wayne.
Psi Iota Xi to sponsor scholarship
Members of the Alpha Eta Chapter of Psi Iota Xi Sorority is offering a $2000 scholarship to a student majoring in Speech and Hearing Therapy or any area of the Fine Arts and will be entering either their junior or senior year of college in the Fall of 2015. All applicants will receive consideration; however, students from Wells County will be given preference over equally qualified applicants from other counties.
