Theater Thursday March 19
Theater Thursday will be held March 19. The movie being show will be When the Game Stands Tall, Rated PG. 
The Bluffton Parks and Recreation Department, Wells County Public Library and Bluffton Regional Senior Circle have partnered together to offer a free monthly movie for adults. The movie will be shown at 10 a.m. at the Wells County Public Library. Free snacks, 10 minute health info and prizes will be part of the program.

Genealogy Society to meet March 21
Members of the Wells County Genealogy Society will meet Saturday, March 21 at 10 a.m. at the Wells County Historical Museum. Don Ormsby will talk about his postcard collection.

Free Jam session March 24
Sweetwater Sound, 5501 U.S. Hwy. 30W in Fort Wayne offers  a variety of musical event, several of them free.
A free Open Acoustic Jam will be held March 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Sweetwater Sound at 5501 U.S. Hwy. 30W in Fort Wayne. It is open to players of all skill levels and guitarists of all ages. are encouraged to attend. 
A Teen Rock Night will be held on Saturday, March 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. with admission being $3. It is an all ages show. For more information call 260-432-8176.

SLR Camera Workshop March 25 & 26
An SLR Camera Workshop will be held March 25 and 26 for those who need help to use their new camera or could use a few pointers on ways to improve their pictures. Lessons are March 25th & 26th from 5:30-7:30pm on the 2nd floor of City Hall. Cost is $22 per person. Please bring your camera.

Indiana history center hosts Ryan White book launch
On Wednesday, April 1, the Indiana History Center, 450 West Ohio St. in Indianapolis will celebrate the launching of the book about the life of Ryan White.
Author Nelson Price has written the book about Ryan, who was denied access to a public school education as he had aids. Planning to be on hand for the book launch are the author, Ryan’s mother Jeanne White-Ginder and Ryan’s friend Olympic Diver Greg Louganis.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a panel discussion at 7 p.m. which will include book signing opportunities. There is no charge to attend the event, but reservations are needed to krohl@indianahistory.org or to 317-233-5658.

Indy to host NCAA music festival April 3-5
The 2015 NCAA March Madness Music Festival will be held in Indianapolis April 3-5, at the White River State Park. The free, three-day music festival is being produced by Turner Live Events. Performances will be livestreamed on NCAA.com for the first time.
The A T & T Block Party will be held from 3 to 10 p.m. on Friday, April 3, with performers to be announced.
 Coke Zero Countdown Concert will be held on Saturday, April 4, from noon to 9:30 p.m. with Rihanna and Bleachers.
 Capital One JamFest will be held from 2 to 10 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, with Zac Brown Band, Lady Antebellum and Kacey Musgraves. 

SW Music Boosters Spring Dinner April 4
The Southern Wells Music Booster Spring Dinner will be held Saturday, April 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Dan’s Fish Fry Service will provide the fish and chicken for the all-you-can-eat event. Cost is $8.50 for adults, $5 for children age 10 and younger. The meal will include a choice of homemade dessert, green beans, applesauce, and drink. Those attending can enjoy  the Southern Wells bands and choirs performing during the meal.

Swiss Village 5K Run/Walk and Senior Walk April 11
Swiss Village will sponsor the third annual 5K Run/Walk and Senior 1 Mile Walk on Saturday, April 11 at 9 a.m.  This is the first race of the Adams County 5k Run/Walk Challenge. 
The event will take place at Arthur and Gloria Muselman Wellness Pavilion located on Swiss Village’s north campus.

Poetry slam at ACPL April 14
The Young Adult Services of the Allen County Public Library will be hosting a Poetry Slam on Tuesday, April 14, from 7 to 8:45 p.m. at the main library in downtown Fort Wayne.
Curtis Crisler will be returning as the emcee. High school students are encouraged to bring a few of their best original poems and be ready to slam.
There also will be an open mic segment and listeners are welcome. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers and refreshments will be served.
